breast cancer site

I did promise that I would continue to keep posting any updates on breast cancer and here's a link to a site that has compiled a bunch of the literature out there as to what are the highest risks factors associated with breast cancer.

It's interesting to see what things you can control for and the factors you can't control for.

Gini and TL,

Boy did I have some catching up to do. You 2 are amazing, keeping busy and keeping your chins up.

Sorry TL didn't get the acting part, but I have to believe the right role will come along for her some time in the future. She is an awesome kid, that report card proves it. Glad you 2 went out to celebrate, as you should, and you guys do it the right way, with taste, venturing out to try something new instead of the same old same old. Good for you!!

I am sure that slumber party was a success and nobody got much sleep Saturday night. Bet you slept well Sunday.

You ladies take care, keep us posted, and I will check out the site you posted. We all have to do what we can to take care of the "girls" if you know what I mean.

Dear Anon,

Thanks for everything. It was fun to try new things again.

I will be posting a short summary in the next few days of the report from the San Antonio Breast Cancer meeting so stay tuned.

love,

Gini,

Trying new things is the spice of life, it keeps you alive. If all we ever did was the same thing day in and day out, weekend after weekend, we would get bored, not only with ourselves but with those around us. I guess that is the purpose of a bucket list. We all shoulld have one, doesn't have to be long, but something to strive for, different goals, no matter how small they may be.

You gals have a good week, talk to you again soon.

The good thing about freedom is that there is no one there to hold you back (and down). Yay for freedom!

I have to agree about variation, it is no fun when your life becomes a rut of the same thing day after day. I now have the freedom to expand MY horizons and live.

My bucket list is short but growing everyday. I can hardly wait to experience the next thing.
