Our trip to the beach started out cold and rainy but has improved exponentially!! We woke up to rain (lots of it) yesterday and spent the morning at the outlet malls where we shopped until we dropped. The rain cleared out yesterday afternoon in time for a couple of hours in the waves. Today was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of sunshine and a cool breeze off the water so we didn't get too hot. I even have tan lines.... Our hotel is on the beach and there is a free concert in the band shell just across the street so we are being entertained while I sit on the balcony and write. We're getting ready to go for a walk on the board walk but I figured I'd check in and say hello.

Any day at the beach is a good day despite the rain, it only dampens the spirits for a little while. And if you HAVE to shop well so be it, someone has to take one for the team, LOL. Glad you had a great time, you do know how to make the best of whatever comes your way.
