Happy Memorial Day

Summer officially starts this weekend and I'm ready, as I told a friend the other day this summer will be so much better than last summer. Of course after my whirlwind week I really need a break.

My plans to head south were stymied since my friend has to work but we'll meet up another day. I also decided that a weekend with a bunch of college kids in Daytona was a little too much--I'm old enough to be a mom to most of them!! I'm sure my social calendar will fill up though. I do hope to have some time to work on my new project though--a friend suggested I write a book about the past year of my life and I think I'm going to take her up on it. Something to do while I'm waiting around for Tiger Lily to finish what ever event she is involved in for the day.

Tiger Lily did great in her game Monday, the team as a whole has really improved and I believe next year they will be really good. She had her chorus concert tonight and she was her usual enthusiastic self (she was robbed of the enthusiasm award...). She is off with her father this weekend and as always I'll miss her terribly but she will enjoy herself I'm sure and that's the important part. I'm sure our transition talk at Starbucks will be full of exciting details.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the extra day.

I think the idea of a book sounds good. Not only will it make for intersting reading, it might be very therapeutic. Sounds like you had a wild week, so take it easy, enjoy the weekend, maybe even have a maragarita or two.

Thanks E, I like the margaritas idea.

Since you'll probably have to read several drafts of the book I'm glad you like that idea....

Somer & Teddy came home to help us with a large project we have been working on for the past few weeks. We are celebrating his birthday also this weekend. I have Oncology this Tues. They are changing my formula/cocktail as my Theophyline level is 2.4 and the norm is between 10 & 20. Am a little tired this week and have to be careful not to catch anything before Tues or I could be laid up for another 3 weks. Don't want to go through that again. Glad to see you so up and happy. Our thoughts are with you. Love sg

SG,

Please give Teddy and Somer our love! And, more importantly, take care of your self--I want you to come visit us sometime!!!!

I agree I'm happier than I have been in a very long time. When I look in the mirror I can say that I like who I see. I am looking forward to what ever new adventure comes my way and am beginning to enjoy my freedom and living my life how I want.

Hugs and kisses to you!

Writing a book - what a fantastic idea! You are a wonderful writer, so I think it is bound to be fascinating. And you certainly have a lot to write about!
